Properly read the description and make sure it is what you want.
This is a purely decorative polymer barrel shroud that attaches to the barrel using the dovetail cutout that is only factory Ruger 10/22 carbine barrels. If your barrel does not have a dovetail cutout for its rear sight, you can not attach this part. I was a bit disappointed by what arrived, but I also skimmed the product description and made assumptions. If you have a factory, stock Ruger 10/22, have the Samson B-TM stock, and wish to add a purely decorative polymer barrel shroud to complete the look then this will check that box.
