Ive installed this to attach my bipod to my RUGER RPR. Installed in second and remains sturdy. Nicely machined and anodized.

I have several of these. Everything went well until i tried to remove one. One of the screws stripped trying to remove it. The other screw came out easy. I was in a position where one was out and one was stuck in and stripped. I ended up just screwing the good screw back in. Then at very little pressure at all re-installing, i stripped that one. now they are both in & stripped. The machined piece itself is very good. The screws are uber soft/cheap pieces of junk though. I will likely just leave that piece where it is and order a new one for the other location.If the screws where better i would not have to order another... I like MI. I am considering another brand though after this. I will recommend this too a friend. Just be warned when you take it off you could have problems.

This was my third attempt (after buying other parts) to mount a Bi-pod on my AR15 w/A2 handguard. After receiving this rail, I 'assumed' that it was going to be the right length, etc. for my project. However, I come to find out that the mounting holes on this Picatinny rail did NOT correspond to the holes in the handguard! So, I chose to get out the Dremel tool and line up the front hole with the hole in the handguard and then cut a slot and elongate the rear hole so that the rear mounting screw could be mounted. I then used longer bolts (the short bolts that come with this rail weren't long enough to go through the handguard and the heat shield) with a small flat washer and Blue Locktite, and the project was complete. From the outside, you can't tell there was any modification needed. So after a little work, my rail and Harris Bipod are securely mounted and look great!
