What is the MAGPUL - PICATINNY LADDER RAIL PANEL POLYMER FOR AR-15?

Flexible ladder-style panel snaps securely into unused cross slots on Picatinny rails, protecting against dirt and dings and improving grip and weapon control. Prevents sharp rail edges from digging into your hand, snagging on clothing, and causing damage to gear, like cut and frayed slings or repelling ropes. Made of rubbery, slip-resistant Santoprene™ thermoplastic elastomer, the ultra-low-profile design keeps your handguard diameter slim.


Covers 18 slots or can easily be trimmed to custom lengths and fitted between mounted accessories. To remove, simply pry up a corner and peel off.

  • Santoprene rubber. 6-15/16" (17.6cm) long.
  • Fits one side of standard carbine-length 1913 Picatinny rail.

The MAGPUL Rail Covers are the best on the market. These are not the cheap Chinese import rail covers. The MAGPUL Rail Covers are heavy duty but pliable rail covers. They are not the cheapest but they are made in the USA and will last a lifetime unlike the cheap Chinese imports. They protect the Picatinny rails and protect your hands. Buy the best. Buy MAGPUL. Beats Spray Paint Anyday!
Of course anything magpul is legit. What i didnt ever realize about these is how every other section is raised a little higher which in return makes for a solid yet very forviving grip. They cut easy for custom sections. As far as the rattle can thing, they serve to protect your nice guns from having to be painted and if you're having to do it just because your rifle stamds out too much from being one color, this is a great way to break up that black silhouette some to prevent being seen. Its not what you want in that scenario however if you're dead set on not rattle canning your rifle then this is the way to go. Thank you Brownells. These come off as exoensive even still you had the best price around!
