COLT - .625" Handguard Cap Steel Black

This item can only be used with a Colt triangle sight. Seems like a point that should be written in the product description. It looks well built and all that in the event you have an appropriate weapon to use it on. I needed a handguard cap for an upper I was building and failed to look at the side photo view of it. Not sure it would have registered because this is my first barrel with a .625 diameter gas block mount; Ok, thats how they are, I guess. But the .625 Brownells sight does not have the indentation to accept that raised ridge around the center. If you require the flat center for any other brand you must go to BCM. These caps are for barrels that are .625 diameter at the gas port. I was in a hurry ordering parts to finish armory work on three departmental weapons. Did not read the Q&A. My mistake. Should have looked up the listed weapon model. Trying to help others from being stupid too. Round with no grenade launcher cuts. Excellent finish.
