Description

Those who've shot a suppressed AR-15 understand the concept of blowback, and manufacturers like Radian Weapons are developing enhanced components designed to deal with the issue. The company's Raptor-SD-SL charging handle features a special vented shaft that makes gas blowback a non-issue in your AR-15. Each Radian Weapons Raptor-SD-SL charging handle features a ported shaft that redirects gas, so you won't experience blowback coming directly into your face. The charging handle also features a low-profile handle conducive for "blading" the handle with one hand for rapid charging.

Good product
Excellent fit & finish! Works great using a suppressor allowing extra gasses to be directed out . Highly recommend it!

No more gas in your face
I’ve tried several handles and still got a face full of gas. With the vents on this, I honestly can’t tell even when shooting suppressed.

Mitigated Gas in Face
Bought this charging handle based upon a review published on an enthusiasts website whose reviews I have had good experience with. This charging handle has dramatically reduced the amount of gas that I get in the face while shooting a suppressed AR. Not an inexpensive fix. Great product.

Pricey but cool
Its expensive for a charging handle but definitely worth it. Ive only used it with a flow through suppressor so I cannot attest to the blowback mitigation with a normal baffle can but its well built and has a good feel.
