The carrier and bolt have excellent fit and finish. I have other carrier/bolt assemblies that were far more costly that are not as well made! I have not fired at this time but I dont expect any issues. Brownells service was excellent. I am very happy with purchase.
6.5 Grendal BCG
I purchased this BCG for my 6mm Arc, it functions fine but the firing pin hits very deep and displaces metal above the primer strike, I purchased a JP bolt, measured both firing pins, they both measured the same length. I installed the JP bolt into the Faxon carrier and observed the primer striikes as looking normal, no divots of metal above the primer face.
Not usable
The ejector hole is possibly too large for the ejector pin. The hole picks up brass and damages the cartridge head face. This is with any and all factory ammo. I returned the first bolt for a replacement, and it has the same problem. I can run other manufacturer's bolts with the same ammo without issue. I am not wasting time returning the second bolt.
