J P ENTERPRISES - Bolt Carrier, SS

I now use these JPE carriers for all my needs, albeit with POF roller cam pins and hard chromed keys/manifolds (which I highly polish the sides and use OCKS screws with Loctite 271 and stake-heavily). I also prefer the Milspec gas rings, which I swap out instead of JPE's one-piece design (which is smoother but leakis a bit). First, the elongated cam track allows a longer locked time for bolts, which helps the Stoner system. Second, the fit into most uppers is solid with more bearing surface area, as is the bolt inside carrier, making for a good precision fit. The superb tight tolerances and glass smooth finish inside and out make for extremely slick operation with good gas efficiency and easy cleaning. The nitrided stainless steel construction give me confidence in lifetime corrosion resistance, despite thermal-cycling and powder residue. BTW, I use only Breakfree CLP to clean BCG and FP-10 for interior lubricant (that stays liquid a very long time). I see little wear beyond bolt tail break-in, and only have good things to say about JPE carriers and bolts.

I originally was going to go with piston but the kit I received had wrong part and didn't want to risk waiting on another to find it was a messed up kit also (from the factory) so then to choices, I thought about the new finishes but also knew sp quality and read reviews everywhere and all were the same so I went with it and it's everything they say,just smooth.The gun now has a 22"jp 6.5 grendel barrel,jp gas block (not worth the extra) jpbarrel cooling fins/not light and a vltor mur upper with a sig lower, sig lowers from 516's are perfect match and thick.. If you are wondering what dif the carrier made I will tell you, it slides easy with no metal sounds rubbing against each other it just glides making it a simple smooth as glass charge. I am glad I got this carrier it's the best I have seen.

I have just finished a new build and it is showcased with a JP trigger group and a new stainless tactical bolt carrier. The bolt carrier is flawless in appearance.It is smooth as silk in operation, and wipes clean in a swip. Forget the rest, buy the best!
