What is the SHAW BARRELS - 10/22~ Target Barrel, Blued?

Heavy contour, premium-grade “Bentz” chambered .22 LR barrel provides an immediate improvement in accuracy over your original factory barrel. Close-tolerance Bentz chamber combines the accuracy of a match grade chamber with the reliable cycling of a standard factory chamber. Extra-heavy, untapered .920" O.D. provides maximum stability for greater shot-to-shot consistency. Use with standard or match grade ammunition; not for use with CCI Stinger ammunition. Minor fitting to stock may be required.

Chrome-moly models have blue finish and are available in an 18" length with dished crown or a 16.1" length with ½"-28 tpi threaded muzzle for adding a compensator.

Stainless model available in smooth 18" long barrel or patented helical fluting for greater heat dissipation, less weight, and improved barrel harmonics. Both have dished crown.


SPECS: 4140 chrome-moly steel blued, or 416 stainless steel (SS), natural matte finish. .920" (2.34cm) O.D. 18" long (45.7cm). Blued barrel w/threaded muzzle – 16Ѕ" (42cm) long. Ѕ"-28 tpi thread.

Outstanding value
Brownell shipping was very quick, and easy as always. The barrel was very well made and after close inspection was flawless. The bore was within 0.0001" from muzzle to chamber and was smooth as glass with no visable machine marks. The barrel fit into the Brownell reciever with just a light tap with a rubber hammer. Accuracy was fantastic from the very first rounds, groups where 0.42" first and then after less than 50 rounds was putting 10 rounds in a .28" hole at 25 yrds.
