The appropriate part.
The previous reviewer, kb830423, has these confused with the 10/22 take-down screw, Ruger P/N B-65. If you would like to secure your barrel to your receiver, this is what you use.

Needs trimming
Using this with an aftermarket stock such as a Hogue thumb hole type requires cutting some off. At least its too long not too short

Much too long for aftermarket stocks
We have our 10/22's in aftermarket stocks; one in a Choate and another in a Faegen. i wanted to replace the brass screw with a hex type. these screws are much too long, by about 1/2". PN 930-000-026AC fits like it's supposed to.
