It is nice to have some magazines that are actually designed for the Big Bore AR-15 calibers. Having a single stack follower helps prevent problems quite a bit. I had one issue with a fail-to-feed but I think that was more part or breaking in a new gun that a problem with the magazine. I have had similar issues with a new rifle that smoothed out with use.

This magazine looks great and is well built. It has the correct follower (unlike the AA mags), but would not function properly in my rifle. I found opening up the front half of the feed lips to 0.506 by bending them slightly greatly improved feeding. My GI mags with the Calegalmags big bore follower work just as well with a similar feed lip modification.

I built a few 12.7x42 (50 Beowulf) uppers for customers and ordered these magazines to test fire them with. I was using Underwood 350gr HP ammo. When fully loaded it didn't want to strip the first round. I figured it was a break in thing and only loaded 8 and it worked. I test fired 25 rounds loading 3 rounds each time. The last round stubbed on the feed ramp/barrel extension almost every time. I'm giving it 3 stars because with ball ammo and a different gun they may work fine. I ordered OEM 50 Beowulf mags and they worked fine.
