Polymer MDT AICS External Box Magazines for MDT Chassis systems. Also works in many other M24 type chassis and bottom metals. CAPACITY .308/6.5 Creedmoor family of cartridges: 5 Round capacity MAX OAL: 2.850" 3.25" tall COMPATIBILITY MDT AICS magazines are guaranteed to work in our HNT26, XRS, TAC21, LSS, LSS-XL, HS3, ESS and ACC chassis systems. They do not work with the following inlets; Winchester XPC and may require fitting in Winchester Model 70. Based on customer feedback, the following systems work well with our magazines, but fitting may be required in some cases. Not usable in an MDT stock.
I purchased one to use in an MDT "field stock," but despite being the same brand, it didn't fit properly. It was very difficult to insert and lock in place, and then was almost impossible to remove. I had to literally pound on it with a plastic hammer to get it to release for removal. It must have been out of spec because the 10-round polymer and 5-round metal MDT magazines I purchased at the same time work fine in the stock. Fortunately Brownells made the return very easy.
