What is the TANDEMKROSS - "Buck Pro" Base Pad 2-Pack?

While the Buck Mark performs magically right from the box, many users struggle with little to no surface on the bottom of the magazine to positively seat the magazine in a consistent manner. The TANDEMKROSS "Buck Pro" Extended bumper gives the user an over sized textured zytel grip that allows the the user to confidently seat the magazine positively every time. In addition, should the magazine get stuck, stylish side cuts allow the perfect grip surface for pulling from the magazine well. This drop in magazine shoe attaches to the bottom of the Browning Buck Mark magazine utilizing a patent pending attachment method. This means it does not require glue or gun smithing and can be custom adjusted to fit virtually any Buck Mark. Sold in packs of 2. NOTE: There are a couple of types of magazines for the Browning Buck Mark. This accessory will only fit the newer style magazine shown below. Some older Buckmark pistols have a magazine that is recessed completely into the grip frame. The base pad is not compatible with this type of grip frame.

They install pretty easy, look cool, and give you something to grab during mag changes. They are kind of bulky, though, when they aren't in/on the gun.

Must Have for Competitive Shooting

I have used these mag bases on my Buckmark mags for years. You cannot go wrong with Tandemkross gear. These bases take the uncertainty of proper magazine seating off the table. My lady just started shooting Steel Challenge and these bases increased her confidence and speed on mag changes.

Easy install and practical.

The install is easier than you might think...in fact I did so before reading the instructions...but it all worked out fine. Provides greater contact/surface area. Well worth it.

Great product

I have a Browning Buck Mark URX Contour. I use the Buck Mark for Steel Challenge. I bought the extended base pads in order to make loading/reloading easyer. It took me 1-2 minuts per magazine to install the Base Pads. No problems. The extended base pads allows you to reload your buck mark quicker. It also gives you a more positive feeling when you reload. You can can easily cut a second or two of your reload time. The magazine suddenly feels like a 9mm when you reload. When the magazine is inserted in the magwheel you are able to slam it into place and not fumble around using 2 fingers. Two thumbs up from me. I recoment this product. Good quality and a joy to look at when mounted on the magazine/pistol. Makes the pistol look a bit meaner :) I am very satisfied with my purchase. Be aware that it wil only fit newer style magazines. Decent

A ton of mold flash present. The price of a quality product, but the look and feel of a cheap one - trimming and smoothing helps. I would personally prefer a softer, more flexible material than Zytel, which would allow dropping the mag without damage during reloads. To be fair, they mention the material used in the description. As far as attachment, I'm guessing there was a contest in the office to see who could attach one using the most pieces possible. The winner's design was adopted. A byproduct of this is a price that is approximately 20% higher than it "should" be.
