What is the PRO MAG - POLYMER MAGAZINES .40S&W for GLOCK® 22/23/27?

In the market of expanded capacity magazines for Glock®handguns, most manufacturers focus on 9mm options at the expense of other calibers that continue to be popular with today's handgun owners. One of those often-forgotten calibers is the .40 S&W, and these Glock®22/23/27 polymer magazines offer expanded options for more mags, as well as an increased capacity option that holds up to 27 rounds. Each Glock®22/23/27 polymer magazine is built for use with the .40 S&W cartridge, and the magazine body is constructed using DuPont's proprietary Zytel polymer, which has been proven to be durable and long-lasting. Constant spring pressure is provided by a heat-treated chrome-silicon wire spring. The magazine are all made in the USA and feature an all-black finish.

Stiff follower springs
They work great in the gun, fall free when you release them but the follower spring is so stiff that I could only load in 25 rounds instead of the 27 that they are designed for. I was using a loader and I was pushing down so hard I was afraid my loader would brake. Hopefully as I use them more the spring will loosen up.

Ok not great but time will tell
I haven't shot with these as of yet. I bout 6 of these pro mags for my glock gen 3 23c. A couple of them were difficult to load due to the follower hanging up. I unloaded and fly loaded these mags a few times until the follower stopped hanging up. I will resubmit a review when I actually shoot with these. Until then these are home defense mags not carry mags until I feel confident they will function fine. Also on several of theseags, the metal sleeve is showing in at the mag catch notch. Not sure why, but this does not instil confidence. See attached pics.

Certainty of a bad choice
I have rarely seen something of such low quality! Horrible finish! Parts of the internal metallic structure visible in places where they should have a plastic covering. It is not possible to insert all the cartridges and the spring rises in slow motion without force necessary. Resistant to insert cartridges and weak to direct them towards the shot. I made the mistake of buying two. They have no pattern between them! Looks like I bought it at an outlet sale. And they weren't cheap! I have no doubt that I would do better in a room maker, my daughter would do better! If they weren't giving me so much trouble I would give it back, but they're not worth the trouble! I will throw them in the trash!
