New Feed Lip Configuration For Ultra-Smooth, Extremely Reliable Feeding The Chip McCormick .45 ACP Railed Power Mag has unique dual-wall "feed rails" that are twice as strong as standard feed lips to prevent jams caused by bent, warped, or damaged lips. The rails provide an extremely smooth surface that further encourages smooth feeding. The key is putting extra metal on the feed lip area, then rolling it inward for a huge increase in overall rigidity of this area. The Chip McCormick .45 ACP Railed Power Mag also has a mag body of corrosion-resistant stainless steel with laser welded seams so there are no snags when inserting or dropping the mag from the magwell. The spring is McCormick's proprietary high tensile strength Rocket Wire with plenty of energy to keep even a full round stack moving.

Great Mag
I've been using Chip McCormick mags on Duty and off for as long as I can remember. The 10 round Power and then Power Plus mags have gotten me through some tight situations and competitions. I bought these RPM mags when I converted one of my 1911 45 ACP to 45 Super. The 10 rd Power Mags I already have worked fine. However, the faster slide and heavier bullets, 255gr at 1150 fps might could use some extra lip strength. They worked flawless with the Super, +P, and Standard Loads.
