Don’t believe the low ballers
I’m an old man, that’s what other people call me. I’ve been running Tripp cobra mags since Virgil was still making guns and coating them. I carried cobra mags in my 1911 in the army back in the 80s and still do in my Ed brown Kobra carry. So reliable that the platform becomes a little boring, cause I’m not having any malfunctions. Next step down is Ed brown and then Wilson combat from what I hear. Ed has a trade in program. Look into it

Modern mag
I run these mags in a Springfield TRP Operator. The body is longer at the base, leaving more room for spring movement, and the feed lips sit slightly higher in the gun. I prefer them over the Wilson 47Ds that I have run for over 20 years in my 1911s. They have no issues seating or feeding the top round. They tend to lock the gun back more consistently than other mags as well. These newer ones are much better than the first runs of Cobra mags, of which I have several and those still work fine. These are highly polished and consistent. These are for work, and feed 185 and 230 grain Gold Dots flawlessly.

Tripp Cobras are Simply the Best
After struggling several years ago to find a 10 round 9MM magazine that was reliable enough for competition, I finally got a few Tripp mags on a friend's recommendation; boom, problems solved. With the entire 1911 platform so completely dependent on its magazines, it only makes sense to buy the best, first time around. That's Tripp Cobras.

Close to a PERFECT 1911 Magazine!!
Have been using these mags for well over 10 years. I like them so much i normally toss any other mags that come with whichever 1911 I buy. (Yes this includes Wilsons, McCormicks and everything else) Never had a issue during any time I have used them. Mr. Tripp has created a FINE FINE product. And because of that it is the only 1911 mag I stock in my store.
