What is the CHIP MCCORMICK CUSTOM LLC - Power Magazine, 10-Round?

Built to the very highest standards for the no-fail performance competitive and self-defense shooters demand. Feed lips are roll-formed and polished, not die cut, for added strength, and Chip’s follower design provides flawless feeding with semi-wadcutters and hollow points. Powerful spring of proprietary, heat-treated Rocket Wire further ensures reliable feeding, even when left fully loaded and seated in a pistol for extended periods. Removable plastic base pad with full, front-to-back engagement, is built to withstand continual use, and numbered witness holes on both sides of the body provide a fast, visible round count. Long-body 10-round model has base pad that wraps around exposed portion of magazine that extends beyond mag well.

SPECS: Stainless steel body and follower. .45 ACP, fits 1911 Auto only. Mag. 10 - 10-round capacity.

10 round Chip McCormick mags
Quick shipping and outstanding magazine's. I already have ome that's probably 20 years old and seeing them on sale I bought 2 to carry spare ammo. Now I have 4 extra bullets for self defense
Would you recommend this? Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Bought two for use in pinball shooting competition. Tested both with full mag. before comp. No problems.

Good "super-size me" option
I have multiple "Chips," and all run great in my Sig Carry Nightmare 45. Never had a feeding problem, including the original Sig mags. I use this for the bed stand gun, and take it to the range every six months and shoot what's been sitting in the magazine pretty much as though I would in a self defense situation (of course, the gun comes to the range unloaded). I consider this to be a good home option. I think it protrudes a bit too much to make it useful for CCW. As an owner of several 1911's, buy one magazine and check it out before committing. I've been fortunate the Sig is pretty tolerant, but had others that were not so forgiving, even with Sig.
