I've used many different mags in my 1911s in 30 years, the only ones still around are the Chip McCormick mags.Flawless insertion, drop free and no feed issues at all. The only mag I will trust my life to.

Great magazine
Solid construction, feels solid in the hand. Unique follower, creates a large gap at the opening when unloaded, allowing debris to easily vacate magazine. Feeds reliably, loads very easily and smoothly. Base pad installs easily and securely.
Very reliable magazine.
Over 20 years I have used these magazines for basic range practice, as well as tactical training shooting 400 to 600 rounds in a day. Base pad model works well with an extended mag well on 1911's.
