PRO MAG - 13rd Magazine for Glock~ 21 45ACP Polymer Black

I came across one of these mags and found it decently made and reliable in 2 Glock 21's and an AR-45. It's almost as good as Glock factory mags. It is vastly superior to those "clear" mags! I was actually surprised by this mag's quality & reliabilty, as ProMag doesn't have the best reputation in that department... So I bought a few more. My only complaint, and thus the 4 stars, is the locking tabs for the floorplate are not in the same location as Glock factory mags, negating the use of aftermarket extensions. But other than that, I'm happy with them.

So out of the bag, i could feel some stickiness.. or rather rough spots. Thinking may just be dry I disassembled and discovered over runs of plastic within the metal shield catching spring/follower. Using a small pick was able to debur several large runs. Had this not been checked, i can see a potential for the follower to become fouled by these runs or even the runs breaking loose and fouling. Huge disappointment (photo is one of 3 rather large chunks removed. Other 2 were similar in size and shape)

The package says it holds 13 rounds but it looks like it only holds 12 . I couldn't find out what it actually did jold because I could get 11 rounds in the magazine due to the spring being way to stiff. I'm just a recreational shooter but it would be nice for the magazine to he able to hold 13 rounds. I would definitely not recommend this product
