Excellent Product from POWER CUSTOM
I wanted to take the time. I called Randall Power and complimented him on the quality of craftsman ship. No polishing or machining was needed. I just dropped it in all was good. Brownell's gets gets a credit for being the distributor, but it's Power Custom who is doing the labor creating this trigger. You could instantly tell the quality of the trigger and how tighter the tolerances were installed and in its function compared to the MIM trigger. It looks like an older S&W .357 w/ the forged /hardened feel but w/ a high polished S/S look. The 10 lb spring lightened the action in the first pull and I chose to trim a coil or 2 off the spring to get a smoother/lighter return. Overall tested I have a 7-8 lb in DA and his advertised 2lb 12 oz in SA. I decided to purchase his hammer as well. Prices are very fair and quality is beyond the QA of S&W of today. Thanks to Brownell's for finding good quality parts!
What S&W should be installing
I have installed three of these kits, one in a Model 25-5, one in a Model 66-1, and one in a Model 625JM. They are truly what you are looking for in a revolver trigger. The face contour is perfect for double action firing, The kit includes all the parts you need for the installation, plus you will not need to hone either the single action or double action sears as they are already perfect. These replaced the serrated triggers on all three revolvers.
