With re fitting and polishing the sear, striker, firing pin safety, and trigger bar it dropped the trigger pull from 7 Lb 10 oz to 4 Lb flat. total trigger travel was shortened by approximately 0.070" and reset was shortened by approximately 0.050". So long as you are competent with gun work, its not hard to install. does leave for a strange trigger feel since all of the springs are so light, but the SD's trigger design is so terrible it makes up for the entire pull weight, without a cocked striker pull weight is about 1 Lb 4 oz. If you're buying this hoping to make your SD feel like a standard M&P you'll be sadly disappointed, it definitely improves the trigger considerably, however its still no comparison to just a polished M&P trigger.
