Fixed a malfunctioning firearm
I bought this because I had a hi-power that wouldn’t fully go into battery until the trigger was reset. I found the old spring was either wrong or the wrong part.

SA-35 ...possible fix
SA-35's have a bad rep. for failure to extract. Using a 18.1/2lb recoil spring 'should' slow the slide a little to allow the extractor to keep hold of the empty case upon extraction. (OEM recoil spring is 17lb)

Wolff recoil springs
I have used Wolff recoil springs in my Browning Hi-Power, 9mm, as well as my 1911 .45 ACP. strong piano wire, they last through a couple thousand rounds, and can be "tuned" to your specific load, be it self-defense or IDPA/USPSA loads. the firing pin spring is also an added plus, although replacement is a bit tricky! I've never been disappointed with these springs, and have used them for several decades os competitive shooting.

Good for shooting +P or NATO, comp.
If you are shooting +P, +P+ or NATO ball ammo these springs can help your Hi Power. Some Hi Power clones out of Hungary already have extra stiff springs in them. If you want to standard Browning parts work in both guns, Fabrique Nationale, as well as in the Licensed FM, Arcus, Tisas, the straight clone from FEG and other P35 clones. Warning! Some FEG Hi Powers have a spring guide lug like a S&W Model 59. Check your FEG Hi Power before you order parts. If the slide locks on a small triangular notch, and it used the slim extended safety it has the S&W type barrel. The recoil spring may require modification in those guns.
