Very well made from bar stock

Hate to give it a 1,
as it is probably a good item, BUT I wi never know just how good or bad it is, because it WON'T FIT IN MY PISTOL! The diameter of the bulge at the end is too big to fit in the firing pin hole in my slide. Pistol is a Magnum Research Desert Eagle 1911 .45acp. I've had no problems with the gun itself, love it. Unfortunately the firing pin shot off into the ether as I was stripping it for a good cleaning. (Not my finest mome t, to be sure.) I have been satisfied with all the other Wilson Combat parts I have bought. Don't know why it doesn't fit. Not cdure it's worth the cost of sending back.
