Repair or return an existing gun to factory specs or assemble a racegun that fits your exact needs. Choose from parts in matte black steel or natural-finish stainless.

SPECS: Fits 1911 Auto. Carbon steel, blue (B), in-the-white (W), or stainless steel (SS) natural-finish. Caliber-specific parts are .45 ACP unless otherwise noted. (SP) indicates Speed Bump-style.

Just what I needed
While it still has a bit of an arch in the web of my hand, it's not near as annoying as the big rectangular bump on the SA Range Officer Grip Safety. The Stainless finish doesn't match my blued gun, but I chose not to wait for the blue ones to get back in stock. It works, I'm happy, that is all that matters.

Great fit and Finish!
The finish matched my Colt Gunsite model perfectly. I did have to ream the hole a bit. I did not have to tune the safety lever portion, it was perfect from the factory. I ordered it to provide a more hand filling situation and it accomplished that perfectly.

The Best!!
I have installed these Grip Safeties on numerous custom builds and mods in the past. Both my customers and I really love the fact that this design of memory bump is absolutely positive in its ability to be depressed adequately by some part of the shooter's hand, regardless of high or low grip. Note that the hole for the Thumb Safety is positioned just a bit lower than "High Grip Safeties". Thus, a little more metal may need to be removed in shaping to the Receiver, if the Receivers Tang Hole is positioned for a "High Grip Safety". No big deal.

Perfection
I purchased this grip safety for a custom build and could not be more satisfied with the outcome. These are not I repeat not a drop in part nor should they be. The Wilson Combat 402 BEAVERTAIL FITTING JIG Brownells part no. 965-402-000 is a must if you want a seamless fit. Take your time and the results will be spectacular!
