Every one should have
It's a little tricky. Watch the Brownells video to help install it.

Most functional extended mag release
Glock release measures about 30.7mm wide. Ghost measures about 32.9mm. Most releases have a tiny button, negating the fact they're wider, or they have an odd design that shouts, "this isn't stock!" Using the stock glock release, I have to rotate my grip to press the release button fully. With the 'ghost' extended release, I can sometimes drop the mag without rotating my grip, just not consistently, a slight grip rotation is still required. Except for the square button protruding an extra 2.2mm, it looks identical to the original glock release button. It's wide enough to make a difference, yet still safe to use with my medium hands. Legal to keep your glock "stock" in IDPA and perfect for my use.

1.273 inches wide
Widest of the extended Glock mag releases Brownells sells.

Do not buy, horrible cast and QC
Awful casting with huge mold lines and offset at least .25mm. Will not fit on a Freedom Wolf frame as I can't get the spring into the notch in the release. I have appropriate tools and have upgraded my other handguns so it might be a fitment issue. Just awful, this is THE WORST product I've bought from Brownells and my first and last purchase of a Ghost product. As the saying goes, "pics or it didn't happen." You're welcome.

Pins mags when pressed.
I bought this release for my glock 22 gen 4, unfortunately it was molded wrong, while it does give a better/extended button, when you depress it fully it will pin the old mag in place, preventing it from dripping. Also it seems as if the molds were offset from each other, there is a lip all the way around the perimeter of the part, resulting in the textured portion beung offset from each other. Being the low expense of the part I don't find it nescessary to return it, but my expeirience makes me leery of ghost as a manufacturer.
