FUSION FIREARMS - 1911 Gov Mainspring Housing Chainlink Gray Matte Stainless

Replaced my factory plastic MSH. Matches the matte gray Colt pieces very well. An improvement over the plastic factory part. No tool is needed to swap out the mainspring, just a firm push down with an appropriate sized punch and while holding the retainer pin should easily push free with another appropriate sized punch. Ease up on the spring and that's it. Reassemble the same way.

Replacement for the gray plastic POC on the Pro Carry II / Two Tone. Considered a stainless MSH but chose the matte gray to match the aluminum frame better (my opinion). Installed it myself and it fit perfect. Looks really sharp with this quality MSH. Great product!

Bought to replace an arched OEM Colt Commander mainspring housing. Wanted a 1911 feel vs. A1. Good packaging, w/ plenty of oil on the product to prevent corrosion. Nice finish, fit perfectly out of the box; no fitting required. Surface provides good purchase w/o being abrasive. Well worth the price!
