What is the FAXON FIREARMS - Match 9mm Threaded Flame BBL for S&W M&P 2.0 Compact Black?

Upgrading the accuracy of your M&P® M2.0 Compact with Faxon’s new 9mm Luger Flame Fluted barrels. Made from 416-R Stainless Steel, the Flame Fluted barrels are conventionally rifled with a 1:10 twist barrel. The Faxon M2.0 Compact barrel is also coated in a salt bath nitride finish that has great wear resistance properties inside and out. Faxon finishes each barrel with their distinctive flame fluting to give the barrel a custom touch.

This barrel is NOT a drop in barrel.
I received this barrel and immediately tried to install it and it would not fit. Finally, I used a rubber mallet to tap it in and the slide would not cycle and became stuck. I had to use the mallet and a punch to get it out. Went online to see if others had this problem and found several who did. So disappointed. I'll be contacting Brownells for a refund,

bore was not concentric, and barrel hood cause improperly timed lock up. Steer clear of this barrel

Not a drop in barrel
Received the faxon barrel for my M&p compact 2.0 today. Was unable to place the barrel in with out extra pressure. Once in I could not rack the slide back I had to use a rubber mallet to remove the slide and tap out the barrel. Not being a gunsmith I will not be able to fit the barrel. Dont waste your money
