What is the LSP - Bull Barrel for High Standard?

Precision-machined from Douglas Premium blanks and cut with a special match chamber. Two models: Match Bull Barrel is full-contour for greater forward weight, adds the “muzzle-heavy” feel, in a blued steel finish. Match Aluma-Lite Barrel features a turned down forward section that’s sleeved with aluminum to help compensate for the weight of red-dot optics or a scope. Available in a two tone silver & black finish. Both feature a recessed target crown and are pre-drilled to accept the LSP Scope Mount listed elsewhere. Fits push-button, take-down models of High Standard.?


SPECS: Steel, polished blue or matte silver finish. Chambered .22 long rifle. 5Ѕ" (14cm) long, .90" (22.8mm) diameter. Bull; 14.6 oz. (414 g), Aluma-Lite; 9.7 oz. (274 g) wt.

Best High Standard Barrel
Purchased the Aluma-Lite barrel. Well machined and fit perfectly tight on both a Model 106 frame and ML frame. No fitting required in my case. The info sheet with this gave various ammo accuracies from a Ransom Rest (50M, 55YDS)... CCI Green 3/4"-7/8", Eley Tenex 5/8"-3/4", RWS 50 5/8". Also note that the Brownell pic on the Aluma-Lite when I purchased shows a bare unanodized barrel. The barrel I received was anodized black, the alloy matching the steel portion. Looks very nice on the frame. I paired this with a LSP rail, also available at Brownells.

Outstanding barrel
An outstanding option from the stock super Matic citation 107 that I own. I wanted to add a red dot option to an already Nice pistol. The chamber is slightly tighter than that on the stock high standard and the accuracy shows. The picture Included or shot from a sandbag at 25 yards using the manufactures rail and a sigsauer red dot. I couldn’t be happier.

Great upgrade for High Standard pistol !
This is my second LSP Aluma-Lite barrel purchase. First barrel is on a High Standard Victor - the second on a Military Citation. These are well made and accurate barrels. The lightened weight of the barrel / pistol combo is a benefit to this older bullseye shooter! I've found SK Magazine ammo to be very accurate and dependable in this barrel! I did not have to do any fitting on either LSP barrel. Very good product!
