Faxon’s Flame Match Barrel for Glock®19® sports innovative variable-depth fluted "flames" that give extra rigidity and help dissipate heat to keep the barrel cooler. Both factors contribute to these barrel’s strong resistance to accuracy drift caused by heat warpage. Plus, it just looks cool! The Faxon Flame Match Barrel for Glock®19® is meticulously machined from triple stress-relieved 416R stainless steel, then given a hard, black Nitride finish for superb resistance to surface wear. The muzzle has an 11° target crown ensures the bullet departs on a true trajectory.

Perfect fit for Brownells RMR slide
This is my third g19 barrel for this Brownells G19 RMR slide and by far the best fit and accuracy. Almost no front to back or side to side wobble and zero fitment issues. The closest fit compared to an actual OEM glock barrel to OEM slide that I've seen. The accuracy was noticably better compared to lesser quality barrels. I went with the unthreaded bc I already have a threaded one and wanted more accuracy with the crown. I'd buy it again for a Brownells slide, no question.

So far so good!
This barrel has a lot of reviews on the interweb of being, probably, the best barrel on the market for glock replacements. I've got one mag through it just after installing it in my g19 as soon as I got it. I do want to note, my barrel DID come with an o-ring on the threaded end. I saw some reviews that said theirs didn't come with one but mine certainly did. I did also add an agency arms 417 comp as well as you will see in my picture.

Faxon G19 Barrel review
I purchased this for a G19 Gen 3, I had purchased an aftermarket Swenson slide that came pre-cut for a Vortex Venom red dot and wanted a second barrel, to have a complete second slide. I tested the Faxon barrel in both the factory and after market slides. The fit was perfect in both with no noticeable play or gaps. The barrel pivots and locks correctly in both slides. I have only dry fired with snap caps to verify function (it works!). I hope to get to the range next week and provide an update on how it groups (accuracy) compared to the stock barrel in each slide with the same Gen 3 frame. Visually it looks nice, and I have read the coating is tough. Weight wise, the Faxon barrel came in at 99 grams, 4 grams lighter than stock due to the fluting. It has the same 1:10 twist rate, but different button rifling. For reference the aftermarket slide with the Venom red dot installed and tall back up night sights weighted only a few grams more than the stock slide with regular night sights and the same stock barrel

Disappointment
I was pretty excited to get this barrel, it looks great and I wanted something nice. When I did receive it however it just didn't work. Looks nice in the glock but creates a little too much gap in the fit for me and gun would not slide into battery. Didn't work, will be returning
