What is the CROSSTAC - Single-Point Sling Adapter?

Minimal profile sling adapter plate provides secure, ambidextrous attachment for single-point tactical slings on carbines or converted shotguns with M4 collapsible buttstocks. The attachment loop centers under the receiver extension nut, out of the way, where it can’t snag on clothing, gear, brush or the sling, and won’t interfere with access to the selector lever. Helps weapon hang flat against your body when released, yet also allows fast, positive re-grip when needed. Accepts most sling hooks, including MASH hooks, H&K connectors, and ZM-style clasps. Fits M4-type collapsible stocks with mil-spec and commercial buffer tubes, including shotgun conversions that use the M4 tube. Precision machined from high-quality steel, then Parkerized dark gray for wear resistance and a close match to factory rifle finishes.

Single point sling attachment
This device solves the age old conundrum of how to hitch up a single point sling with no fuss or what ever mus is. I put this on an AR15 with Aimaculate folding stock adapter. With this there is no binding and keeps your weapon where you want it. A good buy at a reasonable price. Now shipping is another matter, indeed.

Top notch detail for AR builds
This sling adaptor allows the use of single point slings, and places the attachment point directly under the centerline of the rifle. In this manner, it is extremely easy to transition shoulders with virtually any make or model of sling. Extremely well made, strong and is cost effective. Highly recommended.

Rock Solid Sling Attachment point
I installed these on all the patrol rifles in my department they are rock solid and work with most any sling. There is been some issue that the last hole on a collapse stock is not available, easy mod explained in other reviews if needed. personally I don't see the need to have a stock collapsed that much while shooting or carrying a rifle so this thing gets 5 stars.

Just FLAT Perfect
I have put the Crosstac sling adapters on all of my AR's and several friends. Simple to attach a sling to and easy to use from either side. Those of us whom enjoy the simplicity of a single point sling attachment that allows the AR to hang at mid upper arm from a simple sling and a surplus HK snap ring find the said simplicity to be quite fantastic. The Crosstac's length will block the adjustable stock from collapsing to it's least position but I just notch the stock where it contacts the adapter about 1/8 to 3/16" with a dremel tool. Badda Bing Badda BOOM !

Low Profile Sling Adapter
This sling adapter works very well on my S&W M&P15 carbine. I bought it because other adapters or the sling would interfere with the back of my firing hand. This is low profile and is a good fit for my single-point sling.
