Instead of fitting the control panel and microphones into the muffs, this unit actually incorporates those components into the headband, which allows the muffs to be smaller and slimmer. Each pair of Walkers XCEL 500BT Digital Electronic Muffs features Variable Dynamic Sound Suppression, as well as wind-noise reduction properties and a Hi-Gain Omnidirectional Microphone that all work in conjunction to provide premium sound reduction and enhancement in a compact package. The earmuffs are powered by two AAA batteries, and the redesigned headband provides enhanced comfort. The unit provides 26 decibels of sound reduction.
