Works nicely for loading my S&W Model 37, 38-Special Airweight snubbie
Speedloader was very stiff when brand new (just like most guns are right out of box). Turning knob back and forth slowly about 10 times before loading 5 rounds into it helped. After that, had no trouble locking in the 5 rounds and then releasing them into revolver's cylinder. Suspect a drop or two of gun oil will make the knob turn even easier, and will help lock and release the rounds even more smoothly and reliably. (Everything "gun" works best after properly cleaned and lubricated).
