Great for Mossberg 500 Series
I got this shotgun wall locker to prevent anyone from accessing my Mossberg 590 Tactical without my knowledge. Programming it was a breeze: it comes with two RFID stickers to attach to items, a key tag for your keychain, and an adjustable wristband you can wear. All of this will open the wall locker in a flash. And it opens HARD. Better have your other hand on your firearm. Mounting it was also easy. I chose to mount it vertically, because I have it in a walk-in closet and it would be less likely to get caught on other things if it was already pointing barrel up. Two large screws set into a stud, and its pretty solid. Theres a separate barrel piece to prevent a thief from trying to pull the unit out, but I didnt use it because of the front site and the large magazine on the M590 Tac. Because I lock up the weapon loaded, I like that this forces you to open the ejection port and have an empty chamber. Theres a protrusion on the inside of the locker that goes into the receiver through the ejection port. You can keep all 8 shells in the magazine, and rack it when you take it down, or grab a handy 9th shell before closing the action and have all 9 ready to go. Solid construction, confidence inspiring, and easy to use. Best ever for a HD weapon.
