What is the HARRIS - 1A2-LM Bipod 9-13" Black?

Mounts to QD swivel studs on bolt action and single-shot rifles for ultimate field accuracy. Won't change zero; added weight steadies gun. Spring-loaded, telescoping legs adjust quickly, fold parallel to barrel for carrying. Series 1A2 bipods have solid base and do not swivel or rotate. Series S bipods rotate 45° for instant leveling on uneven ground. Buffer springs and adjustable tension on hinged base help eliminate tremor. All Models available in either Series. All Adapters fit either Series bipods. Not recommended for lever actions.


SPECS: Aluminum and high carbon steel, anodized, black finish. Adjustment height range is from resting surface to center of bore. Height is noted in chart below.

Harris makes great stuff! Well built and rugged. I already have the same bipod in 6-9" but needed additional elevation for a few places I shoot. You won't be sorry if you buy this bipod and the price was right too!

.308 tested and approved.
For the price it is an exceptional bipod. Clears both AR10/LR308 20 round magazines with room to spare. The only issue I have faced is the retention screw for the swivel adapter tried to walk out on me a couple times. Nothing a little elbow grease and blue loctite or thread locker can't fix.

Excellent Quality
I have this bipod attached to a Remington 700P. It is very well built as all Harris bipods are and is very stable. The leg notches make it very easy to adjust when shooting prone on uneven ground and they deploy under spring loaded pressure. There are other bipods out there that look like the Harris but they are made of lighter metal and the hardware is not of the same quality. I know this because I have owned them too particularly the Shooter's Ridge brand. Don't skimp get the Harris you will be happy.
