LAPUA - POLAR BIATHLON AMMO 22 LONG RIFLE 40GR LEAD ROUND NOSE

I was called out of town after an order I made was in transit. I really didn't want my delivery to arrive and sit outside in the weather or subject to porch pirates while I was gone. However, I alerted Brownell customer service as soon as I became aware of my need to travel, asking them if they could possibly reroute the order to a friend's home even though it was in transit. While there are admittedly quite a few match grade ammunition choices in the .22lr universe to choose from and they have all produced great groups in the right rifle in the hands of an excellent marksman, few can hold a candle to the Lapua Polar Biathlon offering for consistency from round to round, box to box, and lot to lot. I have consistently produced sub 1/2 moa groups from 50 yards to 600 yards with this ammunition. If you havent experienced the kid like exhilaration of sending a subsonic.22lr round 600 yards and producing 3 groups on an 18 steel plate then buy a brick and grab your favorite tack driver .22 rifle and prepare to be amazed. The Lapua Polar Biathlon round was developed for competitive Olympic shooting under less than ideal conditions in snow and ice at extreme low temperatures. It has to be consistent for shooters to medal and the fortunate benefit to us mere mortal shooters is access to a cartridge that delivers phenomenal performance over and over again from lot to lot. It is pricey.even before all the current craziness caused prices on all .22lr ammunition to skyrocket, but when you can shoot the center out of a dime at 50 yards or bang steel plates 6 football fields away..every time..you tend to forget about the price tag.and frankly you forget about a lot of other stuff too.and isnt that truthfully priceless?
