CCI - 22 Long Rifle 40gr Lead Round Nose 100/Box

WOLF MATCH,TENEX,ELEY CONTACT AND CLUB SHOOT PRETTY GOOD AS WELL , BUT I ALWAYS COME BACK TO GREENTAG . THE PRICE IS RIGHT TO .TENEX IS 22 BUCKS FOR A BOX OF 50.SO GIVE THESE A SHOT.THEY WONT DISSAPOINT.

I use this in Bullseye competition and it groups better than I do. The only thing I don't like is the new packaging. The old boxes had GREEN labels and now all CCI has the generic "Blue" label. I've gone to the range with the wrong CCI ammunition for my pistol

While this ammunition is high quality, reliable, and consistent, it did not shoot accurately in my rifles. My Charles Daly by Zastava, shoots sub half inch groups at 50 yards with CCI Standard Velocity, and most varieties of SK Ammunition, plus a few others. It barely grouped under an inch with the CCI Green Tag. I got the same results with my custom Ruger 10/22 with 20" Heavy Tapered Kidd Barrel. Both rifles were reliable with the Green Tag ammunition, and velocities were actually more consistent than most Match Ammo I've chronographed, but the accuracy wasn't there. I considered trying a different lot, but there are no lot numbers on the boxes. Absurd. Velocities averaged 1,061 fps from the 22" barreled Charles Daly, and 1,014 fps from the 10/22's 20" barrel.
