This spirit still thrives in every round produced in the Gold Medal line. Ideal for rimfire target shooting, this ammunition offers outstanding quality, velocity and accuracy.

Best ammo I have shot in CZ 455 Scout
The 711b federal gold metal target is used almost exclusively in my CZ 455 scout. Absolutely loves this round, All of my other 22lr rifles shoot best with CCI standard velocity. And CCI Greentag for that best group possible. This little CZ will out shoot them all with this round. I have produced 50 yard 5 shot groups under .25 inch when I do my part. I was amazed the first time I purchased a box and ran it through some accuracy tests. Makes for a great squirrel, and rabbit load, and any other varmint that dare come within 100 yards. I have tested so many different typs of 22lr ammo, this really was that lucky find for me. I Always keep a brick on the ammo shelf.

Value priced ammo that's accurate
I truly like 711b for the cost/performance ratio. It is an accurate round out of my Kimber 82G at 50 yards, and is great practice ammo. True, like most low end ammo, you're going to get some fliers, and you can hear that. But, when I want to work on position practice, or just shoot with friends in friendly competition, this is the ammo that we use. When I want to get serious, I'll move up to the 922A, or the UM22. Both of those are for special occasions, however, and rarely get used. The 711b doesn't hold quite the same quality as ammunition coming in from Europe, but with the increase in pricing on some of that ammo, it's a little harder to swallow the cost. I believe that the 711b offers a good, alternative practice and informal competition shooting ammunition. You'll still need to spend more money if you're going to shoot for comps or score, but for trigger time, this is the cat's meow. Gary

Shot in Chief AJ hvy bbl Ruger 10/22. Just average accuracy at 50 yds. Will shoot an inch. Occassional flyers
