Berger Bummer
I had high hopes for this ammunition since it has two of my favorite components, Lapua and Berger. Sadly it has not lived up to my expectations. There are several things that leave me unimpressed. 100 yard grouping is not what I would call great, its about 3/4 MOA. I ran the ammunition over my LabRadar twice because I thought this must be a fluke. Nope ES 54 SD 18 2900 FPS the first time and ES 69 SD 21 2965 FPS average the second. Both times were 10 shot strings. Oddly this ammunition gives me heavy bolt lift. This is from a 24 Rock Creek barrel. IMO this isnt great for a round that runs $2 a pop. I didnt expect it to compete with my hand loads, but I did expect better from Berger Ammunition. I have also shot Black and it shot tighter groups, slightly better stats and costs half the price. Ultimately I dont think I will be able to compete with this ammo as planned.
