Berger’s 6.5mm Creedmoor 156 Grain Elite Hunter rifle ammunition is designed for hunters that want to take full advantage of the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge for hunting in a custom or high-end factory rifle. While the 6.5 mm Creedmoor was originally made famous by competitive precision rifle shooters, hunters quickly adopted the cartridge because it is able to shoot Rifle Bullets that are ballistically comparable to heavier calibers, but at higher velocities and with reduced recoil, giving small to medium game hunters a distinct advantage.

The 6.5mm 156 Grain Elite Hunter Rifle Bullet utilizes an industry-leading long nosed hybrid ogive, which blends tangent and secant designs to optimize efficiency and reduce wind-drift. Elite Hunters are built on a thinner J4 Precision Jacket for rapid expansion on game animals, meaning it will penetrate 2-3″ and then begin to expand and create a massive wound cavity up to 15″. The hydrostatic shock causes most animals to drop immediately.
