BRILEY - CHOKE TUBE SPEED WRENCH

Have been a Brownell's customers since the old days when you had to mail in your orders. They've always sold only the best of brand parts and tools. This order was no different.

I think this is a great product! I am very impressed with the fit and finish of the components, and think the blue anodizing along with the yellow insert looks great. I've never had a problem removing tubes, and I like the way the fingers center the wrench in the tube/barrel. Superb buy, I'll be picking one up for my 20 gauge. I've had my 12 gauge wrench for a couple of years already.

Fast and easy to use, but not made of the best quality materials. First, the handle broke off. Next, the anodized aluminum fingers broke off one at a time. Then the actual wrench rounded off so it will only tighten chokes, but won't remove them. Granted, I use it a lot as a gunsmith, but it should hold up to normal use. I expected something from Briley would hold up, but I was wrong.

The teeth which engage the slots on the choke chewed and gnarled themselves to nubs trying to get a choke out of an old 1100. Later I borrowed a standard "blade" or "stamped" type wrench and after great effort the choke came out. This product is convenient when the choke has been broken loose and just requires rotation.
