Firing pin spring tool
The Sinclair tool arrived in quick time. Good instructions are included. Worked perfect. A little oil on the threads made it even smoother to adjust. The Sinclair mainspring tool made disassembly and reassembly Eazy-Peezy.

Rem 700 Firing pin spring removal tool
Works absolutely great to make spring removal safely!
5
Correct tool for the job
I am a new competitive shooter and needed this to replace a worn spring on a recently purchased used benchrest rifle. The action was a stolle panda. Simply put, if you need to swap out a spring on a Remington 700 or clone, you need a contraption to get the job done. This Sinclair tool works well and is reasonably priced.
5
Right tool for the job
It's quick, easy and gets the job done.

Must Have Remington Tool
If you need to change out a Rem firing pin you sure won't do it with figure pressure. This tool is fool proof. Elegantly simple. Swapped in the David Tubb firing pin with Duo Springs to gain a little lock time. Along with the Sinclair Firing Pin Removal Tool. This job is as simple as the wrist action needed for a hundred or so turns on the screw. Without a tool it's not going to happen. Can not see this tool ever wearing out. I've an 18-inch-long tool box filled with special tools for Remington Rifles. This one is a keeper. See photo for pic of both Sinclair tools working together to change out pin and spring.
