The Brownells Remington 700 Sako Extractor Installation Jig is a precision made, steel V-block that provides consistent, repeatable machine setups and avoids costly milling mistakes while improving production time. The v-block jig acts like a vise and clamps the rifle bolt at the correct milling angle for the perfect extractor cut. This compact unit fits in a standard mill vise and provides plenty of working space for fast, accurate turn-around. A must-have for fitting Sako extractors to Remington 700 bolts. Instructions are included with the Brownells Remington 700 Sako Extractor Installation Jig.

Simple, secure, accurate
If you must install a Sako-type extractor, this fixture works perfectly. The bolt is secure in the jig and the jig is secure in the milling vice. Mill the slot and drill the extractor hole in the horizontal position, then place the jig vertically and drill the plunger hole. No need to remove the bolt from the jig. Easy to see every operation.

Very nice jig
Very nice jig the only thing that would have been nice would be to have the alan cap screws counter sunk into the top so you can just quickly turn it sideways in your milling vise to drill for your pin boss at 90deg. I did that modification on my jig makes thing easier.
