The HEX triple dimple jig integrates 3 jigs into one tool. Its machined from 1045 carbon steel hex stock with 0.420", 0.460" and 0.500" center to center on holes and a 0.765" bore.

  • 1045 carbon steel hex stock
  • Heat treated - 60 rockwell C
  • Black zinc coating
  • Includes pointed and soft point set screws
  • 11/64" drilling holes

Dimple Jig
Easy to figure out and use. Set up Jig per directions and use drill bit as called out for. Guide holes for drill bit are180 out from guide screws. Was done in less than 5 minutes.

Decent product, but odd spacing.
The block does what it is intended to do. Provides set screw jig for three screw spacings. Just that the three spacings are not necessarily the ones needed. Of the gas blocks I looked at, they were .400 and .450. Maybe .46 will work for the .45 spacing, but not sure. It doesn't help that screw spacing isn't something listed commonly listed in Brownells descriptions of gas blocks. If you search Q&A you can sometimes find the screw spacing for blocks. Just make sure that your screw spacing matches these three
