What is the TANGODOWN - Floorplate Removal Tool for Glock~?

Whether you're performing basic maintenance or looking to add on a baseplate or magazine extension, there are lots of reasons to get an OEM floorplate off your Glock®pistol magazines. However, as those who've tried know, getting one off isn't all that easy. Enter the Brownells Floorplate Removal Tool for Glock®. Each Floorplate Removal Tool is constructed from durable, injection-molded Nylon and is cheap enough to have a few on-hand in your range bag, workshop or pistol safe. The tool is purpose-built to provide just the right amount of leverage to slide that floorplate off without marring your magazine. The Floorplate Removal Tool for Glock®will not work on G42 or G43 floorplates with the finger rest, but it's designed to work with all other Glock®OEM magazine floorplates.

Glock Magazine Floor Plate Off In A Snap
Tangodown Glock Mag Floor Plate Removal in a few Seconds! I'll buy more for spares to have one for each Glock I Own. There is no way the OEM Glock Horseshoe Removal Tool will not work by pinching it unless you are Hulk Hogan with a super human grip! At some point in time Glock magazines need to be disassembled to clean or change springs, followers, floor-plates - This is the tool to Quickly get them apart! I will buy more. A VERY good QUALITY Product! AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE To buy several!

Better than nothing
This is a good idea, but not well executed. The pin that goes into the hole in the floorplate needs to be longer. When trying to use it, the pin comes out of the hole. To make it work, I had to push down on the end while squeezing the grip part with my other hand. It works, but not as easily as one a friend has that is made by another company.

Waste of time and $
I have a Glock 43 and tried (unsuccessfully) to remove the OEM base plate for a 6rd magazine. Thought this tool would do the trick, but nope! Oh well, you live and learn.
