1911 TRIGGER STIRRUP DIE

The Brownells 1911 Single-Stack Trigger Stirrup makes it easy to smooth out the bends and bumps found in production triggers and match-fit them for precise, no-wobble travel. Just slide a trigger over the die and tap lightly around it with a small hammer. The stirrup die maintains correct shape and angles. This die can also be used to save dinged and damaged single-stack 1911 triggers as well.

This die works well, just what is needed for stretching/ straightening bows, and holding steady while stoning and polishing the trigger.

Must have tool
If you do triggers, you need this. I have two; one for shaping and one for polishing. I found this to be essential for correcting triggers, especially for getting the shoe lined up. I use the first one I bought for holding a trigger while I polish the sides and clean up the stirrup. Like a lot of other 1911 specific tools, this tool helps get accurate results quickly.
