What is the BROWNELLS - Non-Marring Bench Block, Nylon?

For those times when any blemish on the gun would spell disaster, this non-marring, solid cast, nylon bench block is a real life saver. Similar in design to the steel precision machnist's block, but non-marring nylon. Has "V" in center for round or flat pieces. Light weight makes ideal for your range kit, too.


SPECS: 2Ð…" (6.3cm) diameter. 1Ð…" (3.8cm) high. 4Ð…" oz. (128g). 5 holes range from .122" (3.1mm) to .375" (9.5mm). "V" groove.

Another usesful tool
I have an old worn out 1911-style polymer bench block, and I have a steel machinist's bench block. This new nylon machinist's bench block is a welcome addition to the bench. Solid construction, well molded, No flash, no burrs, no flow lines, every feature exactly where it should be.

Perfect small block
Out of several blocks we use on a daily basis we tend to use this one more often than expected. As the smallest block we own it takes quite the abuse and preforms just like expected. It has a very small footprint compared to others in our shop, but we will be ordering more as time goes by.

Very Small
The block is smaller than I exspected. I have not used it yet, but I am sure it will work for some of work that I have planed. Now I am looking at getting one of the larger blocks.

Shalosky
They slapped a giant sticker on it and the adhesive melted. Now I have to remove it with chemicals if I can. Once the chemicals left behind seep into the nylon, it could get onto my firearm and damage the finish. This is garbage now.
