What is the BORE TECH - Bore Tech Chameleon Gel?

Dual-purpose bore cleaner/polish changes color to let you know what type of fouling remains in your barrel – or when it’s totally clean. Designed to be used in conjunction with Bore Tech C4, Cu+2, and Eliminator products, Chameleon Gel removes heavy carbon, copper, lead, moly, and plastic fouling. Make multiple cleaning passes, just as you would with any cleaner, and if the gel residue comes out blue/green, you still have copper fouling. Black means carbon fouling, and gray means lead and/or moly. When the gel residue finally remains white in color, the barrel is clean and lightly polished. Nonembedding, biodegradable, safe for all barrels.

the gel that expels

I use this in conjunction with c4. I works great for cleaning out a bore that hasnt been cleaned since 1979. Will take out all foulings. Make sure you use in conjunction with the bore tech products its desinged to be used with to get best results. Cleans up easily and wipes out easily.

Excellent Bore Tech Product

I use the Chameleon Gel in concert with Bore Tech Eliminator to fully clean my competition rifle barrels. I use both products per the manufacturer instructions. I initially pass 4 to 5 wet patches of the Eliminator thru the rifle bore. I then place the Chameleon Gel on a nylon bore brush and thoroughly scrub the rifle bore then let it sit for 5 minutes before making a second pass with 4 wet patches of the Eliminator and letting it soak the bore for 5 minutes. Lastly I pass dry patches thru the bore until all traces of copper fouling are gone, usually about 6 to 8 patches. Results are a clean bore free of any carbon and copper fouling.

Bore Tech Gel really works, I have a bore scope. You will be very happy with this product! Let stand in barrel anywhere from 15 minutes to over night.

Chameleon makes your barrel shine

If you are leery of using bore paste products, try Chameleon Gel. It is without a doubt the best barrel cleaner I have found. It removes stubborn carbon and copper from any barrel. I have used it on 6.5 Lapua and 7mm RSAUM barrels. It gets them all clean. I know because I have checked with my Hawkeye bore scope. The other thing that is eliminates is that stubborn carbon ring that builds up at the end of the case mouth. Don't hesitate, buy a couple tubes.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT

I took my 6.5mm 30-30 Imp and had some rounds loaded with RL19 that I wanted to test. Holy cow!!!! Talk about dirty powder, I spent all night off and on trying to clean this barrel with other products. My friend recommended the Chameleon Gel product and it wasn't until I pulled it out that I finally got it clean. It worked amazingly fast and color indicated so I knew when the bore was clean. This product is fantastic for heavy carbon fouling
