REMINGTON - REM OIL WIPES

These cloths work well for just wiping your gun down after shooting it. I usually wipe my guns down with one before cleaning them after a day at the range.

I'm so glad these are back again. I use these to wipe down my firearms when I get back from the range and don't have time to field strip and do a complete clean job, before putting them back in the safe. The wipes leave a nice protective film behind, are fast and easy to use.I'd recommend these for anyone who hates rust!

I use these wipes to assist in cleaning the inside of my gun barrels. They are amazing when I cut them up down to the size appropriate for that barrel. Run them down and will collect fouling residual others just miss. As a chemical engineer you would understand why it works so well.

These are advertised as the Teflon Lubricant added wipes. Maybe they made a mistake and havent checked what Remington has been sending them but the wipes that I received are the 2X the oil wipes. They tear apart even while you are removing them from the can. They also leave behind long fibers from the very first swipe to the last. If you have a parkerized finish it is even worse. The Teflon Lubricant wipes were made differently and 1 wipe could even be used on multiple firearms. Pros Plenty of oil in the wipes Cons Tears apart instantly and requires 2-3 wipes per firearm cleaning to keep the fiber build up to a minimum. If you are just cleaning the outside of a hi polish blued firearm they work fine. I probably only gave this a 1 star rating because I know how much better the Teflon wipes are. If I didnt know any better, I would have given it a 3 star rating.
