Bore Tech bolt action wiper
I've been using a Bore Tech bolt action wiper for 5 years now. Can't imagine not having one now. I attach a 3"x3" patch lightly soaked with M-Pro 7 or Bore Tech Eliminator to the barbed end and insert the wiper into my bolt chamber area using a Dewey 12" rod. Three or for twists and the patch comes out with some bolt grease and carbon residue. (I always place a dab of grease behind my bolt lugs on the good advice of a qualified gunsmith). A couple of dry patches and the bolt area is clean. I also use the star chamber wiper that Bore Tech offers for the MSR / AR format rifle. Both style wipers work very well and makes cleaning your bolt recess area much easier. I recommend them.
