What is the DEWEY - PARKER HALE STYLE JAGS?

These jags are wrap style jags with a blunt nose. Jags grip patches tightly. Great for use with J-B or when applying solvent such as Sweet's. Parker Hale style jags are available with male or female threads. Male or Female threads match standard threads for the bore diameter selected. Female style mate with Dewey coated rods. Male style mate with Dewey stainless and other brands with standard cleaning rod threads.

Great Jag
I recently discovered the PH style jags and must say they are awesome. For those that have never used these you wrap the patch around the sides of the jag. The built in teeth help keep it there. You can really get carbon and copper out quickly with these and a little bore cleaner like JB non embedding bore paste or similar.

Really great product
those plastic jags you get with cleaning kits just don't get it they keep falling off these need jags hold the patch in place and do a complete job

Jags
I truly wish that I had given Parker Hale jags a try much earlier in my shooting background. Just purchased three (3) in different calibers (i.e, 22, 243, & 30) for rifles. They work so much better for me than the traditional jag with pointy tips that I find there is no comparison. They truly seem to get to the fouling (carbon and copper) much better than any jag I have used in the past. I've been a shooter for at least 70 years.

USELESS / AVOID!
Female threads (with unlisted thread pitch) make this item incompatible with all standard bore rods .. unless of course, you find & buy an additional adapter.
