What is the BROWNELLS - SPECIAL LINE™ DEWEY-THREAD CENTER FIRE RIFLE BORE BRUSH?
Do away with the thread adapter; Special Line brushes thread right onto Dewey Coated rods. Eliminates the need to constantly change adapters; no more hunting for a misplaced adapter. Special Line brushes have the best phosphor bronze wire bristles for long life and thorough cleaning. A one-piece, looped and wound, brass shank and coupler prevents any chance of putting a scratch in that all-important barrel.

Great bore cleaning brushes
I have used Dewey products for years and consider them to be the best available. They last longer than cheaper, shorter brushed and stay attached to the cleaning rod better. Truly a great product.

Great for top quality equipment
These brushes are worth every penny. The extra protection they potentially offer by only utilizing brass vs. steel on the shank is worth any extra cost. While you may never have any issue with the solid part hitting a part of your barrel, the peace of mind of knowing the brass is softer and therefore can't hurt anything is worth it to me. Just remember these are meant for the male end of a Dewey rod.
